Dessert “Vanilla”

Delicate aromatic dessert.
It is advisable to use natural vanilla.
From the specified amount of ingredients, 4-6 servings are obtained.

  • 500 g thick sour cream (20%)
  • 400 ml milk
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 yolks
  • vanilla stick or 2 tsp. vanilla sugar
  • 25 g gelatin (sheet or powder)


Soak gelatin in 150 ml of cold boiled water.
Leave for the time indicated on the package.

Warm milk to room temperature.

Grind the yolks with sugar.

Add warm milk.

Put the mass in a water bath.
Heat until the mixture begins to thicken (about 30 minutes).

Cut the vanilla stick.
Take out the seeds.

Add vanilla to the yolk mass (add vanilla sugar at this stage).

Add gelatin.
Heat until the gelatin dissolves.
Remove the mass from the fire.
Chill a little.

After that, mix the yolk mass with sour cream.

Pour the mass into bowls (or any suitable molds).
Refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
