Eggplant “Fragrant”

Thanks to herbs, eggplants are incredibly aromatic and tasty..
From the specified amount of ingredients, 4-6 servings are obtained.

  • 2-3 eggplants
  • 1 egg
  • 5 tbsp bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp dried herb (I used marjoram and basil)
  • salt
  • vegetable oil


Cut the eggplants into slices about 1 cm thick.
Sprinkle with salt.
Leave on for 30 minutes.
Rinse in cold water (this is done so that they do not taste bitter).

Mix together bread crumbs (I used store-bought sesame crumbs) and dried herb.

Beat eggs a little.
Dip eggplant slices in an egg.

Roll in breading.

Fry in vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown (5-6 minutes on each side).
