Carrot orange pie with syrup

I bring to your attention a cake that will help color gray autumn weekdays with its bright color.
It turns out very tasty! Fragrant, juicy, delicate.
Prepares quickly and easily.
You can try to use pumpkin instead of carrots, or carrots and pumpkin together (take 100 g of carrots and 100 g of pumpkin).
The specified amount of ingredients makes 8-10 servings.

  • 150 g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 50–70 g sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 200 g carrots
  • 1 orange
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 250-300 g flour


  • 200 ml of water
  • 100-130 g sugar
  • 1 orange


Grate carrots on a fine grater.

Squeeze juice from an orange (we need 100 ml of juice).

Grind butter with sugar and vanilla sugar.

Add eggs.


Add juice.


Add carrots.


Add baking powder and flour.

The mold (I used a mold measuring 20 × 30 cm) grease with oil.
Put out the dough.
Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Bake for 35-40 minutes.

Cooking syrup.
Squeeze juice from an orange (we need 100 mol of juice).

Add sugar to the water.

Boil for 3 minutes.

Remove from fire.
Add juice.

Pour warm (or cooled) pie with warm (or hot) syrup.
Let the syrup fully absorb..
