Chocolate cake with caramelized pears

Delicious pie!
Delicate chocolate dough, aromatic pear is very tasty!
Can serve a cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
You can try apples instead of pears, but I highly recommend pears..
From the specified amount of ingredients, 6-8 servings are obtained.

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g chocolate (milk or dark)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 100-150 g flour


  • 500 g pears (I used the “Crystal” variety)
  • 50g sugar (I used brown, but white is fine too)


Dice pears.

Pour sugar into the pan.

Heat until sugar dissolves.

Add pears.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Melt chocolate in a water bath.

Grind butter with sugar.

Add eggs.

Add chocolate.


Add baking powder and flour.
Knead the dough (it should not be very thick).

The mold (I used a mold with a diameter of 26 cm) grease a little with oil.
Put out the dough.

Put the pears on the dough (during cooking, some of the pears will go down, this is normal).
Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Bake for 40-45 minutes.

Decorate to taste.
I decorated with cherries and purchased chocolate leaves.
