Lasagne with tomatoes, cheese and ham


Delicious hearty lasagna.
Fragrant tomatoes, delicate sauce, ham and cheese – this cannot but be delicious. :)
The lasagna is big. If there are any extra pieces of finished lasagna, they can be frozen.
From the specified amount of ingredients, 10-12 servings are obtained.
Ingredients

  • 250 g lasagna sheets
  • 1 kg of tomatoes
  • 500 g ham
  • 300 g maasdam cheese (or any hard cheese)
  • 100 g gouda cheese (or any semi-hard cheese)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 200 g onions
  • vegetable oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • greens to taste

béchamel sauce:

  • 100 g butter
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • 1 liter of milk
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

Finely chop the onion and garlic.

Set aside 3-4 tomatoes, cut the rest into small cubes.

Dice the ham.

Finely chop the greens.

Grate maasdam.

Separately, on a fine grater, grate gouda.

Cut the set 3-4 tomatoes into slices.

Fry the onion and garlic in vegetable oil.

Add tomatoes.

Salt, pepper.

Add greens.

Simmer until the sauce thickens (about 10-15 minutes).

Cooking béchamel sauce.
Melt butter.

Add flour.

Fry lightly.

Pour in milk, salt, pepper.

Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens (in consistency it should resemble liquid sour cream).

In a baking dish (I used a dish measuring 17 × 25 cm and a height of 5 cm) put lasagna sheets in one layer (carefully read the instructions on the package, some companies offer to boil lasagna sheets, some – use dry sheets).

Place half the tomato sauce on the lasagna sheets.

Put half of the ham on the tomato sauce.

Spread out half of the béchamel sauce.

Sprinkle with half of the maasdam cheese.

Lay out lasagna sheets.

Add the remaining tomato sauce.

Lay out the leftover ham.

Place remaining béchamel sauce.

Place the remaining maasdam cheese.

Cover with lasagna sheets.

Sprinkle with half gouda cheese.
Put in the oven.
Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

Remove the lasagne from the oven, put the tomatoes, cut into slices.

Sprinkle with the remaining gouda cheese.
Put in the oven.
Bake until cheese is melted (about 10-15 minutes).

Cool the finished lasagna a little, cut into portions.
