Quail marinated in ginger with lingonberry sauce


Delicious dish.
The sauce goes well with quail.
Instead of quails, you can use small chickens, or chicken wings (baking time must be changed).
The specified amount of ingredients makes 4-5 servings.
Ingredients

  • 4-5 quails

marinade:

  • a small piece of ginger (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 100 ml soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • juice of half a lime (or lemon)

sauce:

  • 300 g lingonberries (I used frozen)
  • 1 tbsp Sahara
  • 2 tsp starch

Preparation

Grate ginger (we need 1 tsp.).

Mix soy sauce and 100 ml water.

Add honey.
Mix.

Add lime juice and ginger.
Mix.

Quail cut on the breast.

Put in the marinade.
Refrigerate for 3-4 hours.

Place quails in a baking dish.
Put in the oven.
Bake at 180 degrees for 15-25 minutes.

Cooking the sauce.
Add 150 ml of water to lingonberries.
Put on fire.

Add sugar.
Boil.
Boil for 5 minutes.

Dissolve starch in 100 ml of water.

Add starch to lingonberries.
Mix.
Remove from fire.

Pour the sauce on the plates, put the quails, serve.
