In the bread recipe I was asked if whey can be used instead of milk.
I promised that I would make bread with whey, and if the result suits me, I will add the recipe to the website.
The result was not only satisfied, but also very pleased.

From the specified amount of ingredients, 1 loaf is obtained, weighing about 600 g.

  • 300 ml serum
  • 1 tbsp Sahara
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 30 g butter
  • 7 g dry yeast (or 30 g raw)
  • 500-550 g flour


Warm up the serum (it should be warm, not hot).
Add sugar.

Add yeast.

Add 150 g flour.
Put in a warm place.

Dough must rise.

Add oil.

Add salt.


Add remaining flour.
Knead the dough.
Put it in a warm place.

The dough should rise.

Mold (I used a 10 × 25 cm mold) oil a little.
Put out the dough.

Let the dough rise.
Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Bake for 35-40 minutes.
